eBioNet — Freshwater Biodiversity Network

The eBioNet (Electronic Biodiversity Network) is a Transboundary Biodiversity Learning Network for freshwater biodiversity monitoring and conservation in the Inkomati-Maputo basin. A BIO-SMART initiative funded by the JRS Biodiversity Foundation, eBioNet connects researchers, practitioners, and decision-makers across South Africa, Mozambique, and Eswatini to strengthen freshwater data systems, build capacity, and promote evidence-based water resource management.
